There are many. Don't just rely on one or two.  The key is to have multiple strategies going all at the same time. Depending on your specific specialty, you should consider.....

Networking groups like BNI or Chamber of Commerce

Develop strategic partnerships with non-competing businesses that deal with the same type of clients as you

Ask your past and current customers for referrals (offer an incentive)

Yellow Pages (make sure you write an effective ad - not just like everyone else's)

Direct Mail (to a very specific and targeted audience)

Yard signs, fliers, etc (depending on the type of construction u do)

The real key to success with advertising is to Test & Measure.  Make sure you ask and track where all of your leads come from.  Over time you can tell which strategies are producing a return and which ones are not. Then you can confidently stop doing the stuff that doesn't work and use that money in other places that you know DO work.  Remember .... test & measure!  Good luck.
