would it be with your fingers, or those little cosmetic triangle wedges? in all the shows i watch they use the triangle wedges and it looks great, but I'm not sure.

  1. The triangle wedges do work  fine, the oils in you fingers can cause acne, make your skin look shinier or can affect how your foundation looks on your skin

  2. I squeeze a small amount, about the size of a pea, onto my fingers and rub the fingers of both hands together.  Then I start rubbing it in at my nose, forehead, cheeks and chin and blend it into the rest of my face.  This helps avoid lines at your jawline and puts the most product where you really need it, in your T-zone.  I have never used a wedge.  I have used a foundation brush, but I think fingers are easiest and quickest, and they're also free.

  3. just do whatever you want as long as it blends in with your skin and theres no blothches of foundation where its noticable

    but i perfer a brush or the pad thingy that it comes with

  4. Things You’ll Need:

        * 1 Makeup Sponges or your finger index with your middle finger.or ring with the pinky

        * Concealer

        * Face Powder

        * Foundation

        * Makeup Brushes

        * Makeup Kits

        * Moisturizers

    Step 1

    Begin with clean hands and a clean face.

    Step 2

    Apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. Let it set a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily.

    Step 3

    Camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer.

    Step 4

    Select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. The color should match your skin, disappearing when blended well.

    Step 5

    Shake the bottle well to mix the formula. Or, simply open a stick or compact version.

    Step 6

    Place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. Dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it.

    Step 7

    Apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin.

    Step 8

    Blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. Pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline.

    Step 9

    Set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.

  5. i would say invest in a foundation brush, i have MAC's #190 brush and it works MUCH better then the sponge pads that foundations can come with.  The trick with the brush is to wet it slightly and then use it to put on your foundation.  I use my MAC makeup and brush still sometimes for just a bit more coverage but usually i use bare minerals mineral foundation :)

  6. Don't use sponges they just soak up all your foundation!

    Invest in a foundation brush, they work much better than your hands, less mess and help give an even coverage.

    I recommend Lancome's foundation brush! But there are loads of cheaper 1's out there!
