What is the best way to ask for a college recommendation? ?

Definitely ask in person, and be sure to bring a resume with you! it doesnt have to be fancy, but give them a sheet with your name and all the clubs, accomplishments, interests, etc that you would be supplying to the college anyways. It's a really helpful way to insure that they mention all your good attributes.

Ask the teacher in person.  It seems more sincere.

Study, and get great grades.

In person.  Hand your teacher a sheet with your name, where it is to be sent, a list of classes and when you took them with him/her, and grade received...and any info that will be good to remind your teacher of your accomplishments.  (college prof)
