What is the best way to ask your dad for a pet?

I want a bunny and i want to ask my dad. i would pay for most of it but what is the best way of asking. I had a fish b4 but it died and my sister has a hamster

this is the best way, Research and more research.  research everything about them and how to care for them.  Then when you ask you can explain to him you know the level of responsibility and what it takes to look after it etc..

it's all about showing responsibility :)

Raise plenty of cash and learn as much as you can about rabbits. Use all your info and create a PowerPoint presentation with fun graphics and lots of information, or make an essay with lots of cool clip art and photos. Try not to pester him about it, just ask every occasion or so.

Just ask him. you have nothing to loose right. Ask him, and if he says no, don't beg, wait a few days, and think of a way to make the pet sound better, tell him, that you will take care of it, and your paying for most of it, so he should go for it.
