  1. First put the ball in your desire place ( i go mid center, center of the 2nd line up) Then i focus my eye on the head of rack. Look back at the ball, aim bottom, then put all your body weight into it. If you hit it right the cue should of hit straight in the middle, making the ball go fast and powerful into the rack.

    Be like efren reyes or manolo (manolo has the best break hands down)

  2. Out of the pocket about 10 inches hit the head ball full with 1/2 a tip draw .And shoot like your mad at it

    With a stick ,Hillbilly did you have your nap today seems your sort of grumpy .

  3. =THE RACK=

    Make sure all the balls are touching when they are racked - especially the top couple.  If the rack isn't tight, it doesnt matter how hard you hit em, they wont spread well.

    =CUEBALL PLACEMENT=

    You'll see the pros on ESPN placing the cueball off to the side (by the 2nd diamond).  This is b/c this spot has the highest chance of making the 1 ball (the ball at the top of the rack) in the side pocket.  HOWEVER, this depends on a consistent rack set up which pros do get on the pro tour, but the rest of us do not get.   Thus, I would recommend not breaking from the side.

    The next best spot to place the cueball is 4-6 inches to the right or left of the head spot (the head spot is where you would rack the balls, but on the breaking end of the table...in the "kitchen" if you will).  This will give you max spread (best chance for making the 9-ball or 8-ball on the break) with max cueball control.

    =TECHNIQUE=

    Aim straight on with the top ball in the rack.  Shoot the cueball as dead center as you can.  On your break shot, WATCH THE CUEBALL NOT THE OTHER BALLS.  Everybodys looking to make balls on the break, but the real key to a good break is cueball control.  If your cueball is flying all around the table, that is a bad break.  What you want is the cueball to STOP dead center in the middle of the table.  Start by hitting medium speed.  Only increase your power when you are confident that you aren't sacrificing cueball control.

    When you can do this consistently, the other balls with start to fall.

  4. Whack it, but not dead on, slightly to the side of the first ball. usually works for me

  5. i like to place the cue ball near the side of the pool table and whack it.

  6. Hit a little right on the cue ball(right english) in to the center of the first ball in the rack and you might even win by hitting in the 8 on the brake. You should also have a good brake and get allot of balls in most of the time.

  7. With a stick

    Ha Ha kinda whats up ??call

  8. I'm agreeing with FITZ...but everyone has their own technique for their break..some place the cue ball near the second diamond on the side...some straight down from the one ball..some near the cushion in front of you...my own way is right between the center spot and the first diamond on the side...i use follow (high) on the cue ball, hitting the second ball on the side dead on following through with my cue stick..it's all about putting your "swing" into it, like baseball...you're gonna hit the ball using all the force from your right arm & leg, right (or left, if you're lefty) when i break, i push through (not poke) the break, making my cue stick go along with the break....a good break, like Fitz says, is having your cue ball stop anywhere in the center of the table (doesn't have to be dead center)..the reason for this is cuz you have better chances of running out your table, than as if it cue were left at the foot or side :).....MAN, I LOVE THIS GAME :D

  9. I love to use a Little English for a break.

  10. but it in a stright line with the ball on top and wack the white ball it works and i beat my bro all the time
