What is the best way to bring my stepson from thailand to america

i'am married to a thai wife from thailand since april 2008 and applied for her greencard in may 2008 (its still pending) i'am an american citizen. now i would love to bring her unmarried son (27 years old) to come live with us permanently. would it be faster and easier for me or her to apply for him?

  1. The only way it's going to happen is for your wife, after she gets her green card, to apply for him.  If he gets married before he sets foot on US soil your wife's petition will become void.  If he gets married she'll have to wait until she becomes a US citizen and apply for him all over again.

    If he were a minor at the time you got married and established the stepchild relationship you could apply for him,  This not being the case, you cannot petition him.
