What is the best way to care for azaleas?

how much water? how much sun? mine is dry ing up and losing leaves. is it good for outdoors? better in a pot or in the ground?

  1. Don't give them more than 4 hours of direct sun a day. They grow  better in the ground! Are you watering enough? They like the ground because the roots won't get dried out as much. They do great in partial shade (which is 2-4 hours of direct sun per day)  to full shade (less than an hour of direct sun a day) but you will get more flowers in the spring if there is partial shade. You should feed them too -possibly lost their nourishment if they are in containers. Use an acidic type evergreen food as they like acidic soil conditions.
