Planned a vacation, need to know the best way to carry funds. I was planning on take cash and a VISA card, the kind you add cash to.

Also, are there any international fees when VISA card is used?

Generally 3%, check with the card vendor.  The currency exchange fee is usually the only one.

Carry the cash and the VISA card in different pockets, and the card number/reimbusement contact phone number in a third location.
