What is the best way to clean BBQ sauce out of a rug?

i spilled some BBQ sauce on my mom's rug while cleaning the kitchen. and the worst part is that the rug is that the rug is brand new! and the sauce stain is way more than just a dot of sauce.

Start by sopping up all the "liquid part" of the stain (which I'm sure you've already done).

Then, in a blender mix:

A few squirts of Dawn Dish Soap

A small amount of water

Blend until all foam

Scrub the stain with the foam and let sit for about 5-10 minutes then wipe with a wet cloth.  Vacuum when dry.  Good Luck!

They sell a carpet stain remover called 'Spot Shot'. I've been living in an apartment with carpet floors for 2 years and i've used this for every stain that i've had. It works wonders!!!!! Spray this over the stain and leave it over night. The next day spary some more and rub with a cloth. It will come right off!
