  1. In the long wrong I do believe it is cheaper to bring in a professional carpet cleaner.  I had my hall stairs and landing cleaned for only £25 and it was a great job.

  2. Use a brush to brush the carpet with maybe soap and water

Then leave it outside and the sun kills all the bacteria and germs on the carpet!

I've tried it a million times and it always is the best way!

(p.s.: don't leave the carpet out on a rainy day!)

  3. Are your tools very little, or do you mean you have a very little amount of tools?

  4. Probably on your hands and knees so the very little tools will reach to the floor!

  5. Get a woman to do it for you!

  6. My innuendo meter just exploded.

  7. Scrub brush, soapy water, and a towel...

    Best tools for cleaning carpets...

    Spot clean!

If all else fails, rent a machine for the day. But before you bring the cleaner home, remove the furniture first that way you can get to business cleaning!

  8. vanish carpet cleaner. and a brush.

  9. Rent a rug doctor... if you are cleaning and area rug, take it outside onto a drive way and clean it... It gives you room to work...

  10. I assume you mean very FEW tools.

    Oh dear...

  11. Dustpan and brush, carpet beater, carpet spray...

  12. Carpet usually soiled not all over but in patches. You can manually remove with a cotton rag soaked with any good all purpose cleaner and water.( You can add very small amount of

    color fast bleach)

  13. Hoover first then get a basin of water and a sponge. Get some carpet stain remover or shampoo, don't get too wet and sponge all over. Hoover when dry.

  14. It depends which little tools you have.
