I rub a candle (white wax) on both my visor and glasses and then shine with a clean cloth. Cleans and prevents fogging.

Wash it with soapy water, then after it dries use a soft cloth to spread shampoo around in little circles(like wax on a car) then use a clean part of the same rag to buff off the shampoo after it dries. Not only will this clean it but a fresh "Waxing" will stop it from fogging up too.

i use windex on mine and it works great.
