Question:

What is the best way to clean guitar strings?

I have a polish liquid, but it's for a finish. I just kinda want to do with with at-home things. I have always heard a small amount of rubbing alcohol. I thought I'd ask before I tried.

Also, I can't figure out what category to put this question.

  4. Now, this may or may not be true, because I heard this from my own little brother.   He explained he had all these girls undies, negligees, and other such stuff in his room because he "cleaned his guitar strings" with them.
