What is the best way to clean my turtles tank?

I'm told a python is good, but how does it work?

A Python Gravel Vacuum is a good way to clean it out.  Just scrub the walls too.  Here is what you do to use a Python:

1.Fully submerge the big sucking thing in the water.

2. Put the pipe in your mouth and suck.

3. Take your mouth off and aim tube into water before it comes out.

4. Go around and get the waste.

ok take everything out and scrub the sides of the tank with warm water with a towel and then your done

The best way to clean a tank that your turtle is in, is to take every idem (including turtle) out of the aquarium and scrub sides and bottom with a dry sponge, then soak the sponge in luke warm water wipe the grime that fell out of the tank and dry it off with towel.

I was going to pass on this question until I saw the advice to suck on the python to start the siphon. NEVER risk getting the water in your mouth. The tank stays cleaner without gravel. You can use a bilge pump or cheap aquarium pump to start a siphon.
