  1. I run water with a little bit of bleach through mine. You need to run clear water a few times after to get the bleach out, but it really works.

  2. A little Clorox bleach and hot water - let it set overnight and wash it and rinse it really well the next day

  3. Buy CLR at your local hardware store. I know Canadian Tire carries it. It works on calcium, lime and rust stains.

  4. CLR works well. You can get it at Lowe's.

  5. Hot water and vinegar works but another method I used about twenty years ago at a restaurant I worked at was to put ice in the urn and then a fair amount of salt and then swirl it until it comes clean. Both worked but in my opinion the second worked best and fastest.

  6. Hot water and white vinegar! I use that to clean mine out every month or so. Just make sure you run water through it again!!

  7. I learnt this from an odd job I had in a coffee shop.  Fill the pot with ice cubes, about 1/4 full.  Then spray (quite a few times)a cleaner like clorox or something bleach based into the pot.  Then swish the ice cubes around in the pot by swirling the pot.  After swirling for some time, pour out  the ice cubes n' rinse well.

  8. My aunt uses one of those Mr. Clean Erasers on the inside of hers.  Or CLR is supposed to help.  The Mr. Clean Eraser also helps get rid of the residue on on glasses from washing machines.  My mom has tried it out for both purposes.

  9. Hi!

Use Vim is a cream base with bleach and take the stains of everything from coffee machines to walls I use it all the time .

clear with a lot of water before use.

  10. salt and crushed ice works too... 1/8 cup kosher rock salt and 2-3 cups cups crushed ice.. swish it around... Yeah it works!!!

  11. make a paste out of water and baking soda apply generously to a dish cloth and scrub
