The covers are faded but the main problem is particularly the dust on the top of the leaves.

  1. dust them as much as you can, then vacuum them, if they have mil due, throw them out , mil due causes asthma

  2. Hoover them gently with the brush attachment.

  3. Get a feather duster and sweep over them. Or scrub it with a DRY paper towel. Be careful not to rip the pages.

  4. * Small brush attachment to vacuum cleaner & vacuum.  If your vacuum has too strong of a suction even after long extensions (less suction the farther the end is from the motor) then you will not want to use the vacuum.

    * Could take the books outside and blow on them with reverse on vacuum (if yours has that capacity), leaf blower or air compressor - - again be careful that the blowing is not too rough.

    * If the vacuum or blowing are either too rough or not accessable, you may have to do dry feather or rag dusting.  Again, do this outside to avoid rebreathing the dust and adding the dust to your home.

    * A dry finger nail brush may be needed to loosen some dirt.

  5. sniff it away with your nose

  6. Feather duster only. Pleeeeese.

  7. Sell it all on Ebay, get some cash from it. I would!

  8. Try a soft tooth brush.
