You need something acidic to cut through the scum and the BEST thing to use is: TANG (the breakfast drink)  Use about a cupful  in the soap loading area, let run on a short cycle.  It works!

Are you washing your dishes on the top rack?  I don't know how to clean a dishwasher, but my glasses were coming out spotty or sometimes dirty when I washed them on the top rack and I finally realized sometimes when the dishes were washing some things on the bottom would move around, especially if I put plastics on the bottom, and they would block the sprayer from reaching the top rack as much as they should.  Now I stopped putting plastics or anything that does not have a substantial amount of weight on the bottom and the top rack seems to get enough water and all of my dishes come out clean now.

If that is not an issue for you you might try some jet dry for glasses, it is supposed to keep your glasses from being spotty.

Do you use a rinse aid like jet dry? When my jet dry runs out, I can tell because my glasses get spots. I'd recommend using a rinse aid.
