I have four wired sources that I want to plug into one lan port on the back of my linksys wet54g wireless bridge. I have heard of a few ways but know nothing about them. I also heard something about using another router to 'catch' my current network and pump it out on the back four Ethernet ports. Any help?

  1. With a hub or a switch. Just get one with enough ports, 8 ports is a common configuration and would be suitable, though you may be able to find one with 5 or 6 ports.

A router would add a layer of complexity that may be unneccessary. With a router you'd be adding another logical network into the environment. Since I don't know the details of the entire network in question I couldn't say whether this is a good thing or bad thing.

In any case, I would not suggest using another router if you don't know enough about how wireless devices and networking uh.. work.
