What is the best way to control kids?

I'm a field day captain tomorrow, and I have to control 1 kid from each grade (Kindergarten-5th).

What is the best way to keep them together, to convince them, etc.?

It's a little late to be asking this question now.  You should have been working on this for a few weeks.

get them to buddy up. Older kid with younger kid.

Their is No real way. Just try to be nice (not that you wouldnt) and stay calm. Have Fun!!!

team the kids up, K-3,1-4, 2-5.  Tell the older kid that he will bethe leader for the younger one.

tell them if they dont then they wont become a mature adult.

Definately the buddy system. Delegate responsibility to the older ones, but make yourself available to solve disputes.
