  1. try writing a letter to your parents this really helps also if you can print out pictures of the dog and put them were your parents will look always talk about the dog but don't make them angry also send via email avilible dogs in the area

  2. A maltipoo is not necessarily hypoallergenic. It could end up with the coat of a Maltese, or a Poodle. It is a MIXED breed, meaning it could be like either of the breeds.

If you're out of the house for school and friends, that's too much time. I promise. Dog can't let himself outside to eliminate. Dog can't feed and water itself. I assume both of your parents work, since they said, "We." Your parents are saying no because they know they'll be the ones taking care of the animal. Don't deny it. It's true.

  3. There are three things wrong here...

#1: A Maltipoo is a mutt. There is no way to predict a mutt.

#2 : No dog is hypoallergenic. That is a bunch of bull **** given off by backyard breeders and puppymillers to make a quick buck.. Dilts and particularly novice dog owners who have no clue about dogs fall for it...

#3 : If your parents don't think your responsible enough or they don't have enough time, forget about it...

Get your own house, get a job, then get any dog you want. Ti'll that happens, parents house, parents rules.

  4. How often do you go out with friends and for how long? You are at school at least 6 hours a day, and if you go out afterward, that's probably 9 hours that poor thing will spend in it's kennel. No animal deserves to be locked up for that amount of time.

Also, if you need to "convince" them, then right now is not the time for you to have one and you need to accept that.

  5. ha i just got my parents today to get me a dog i was so excited. I'm getting a shihpoo its also hypoallergenic, but get your parents to meet one of your friends dogs and make sure they fall in love with them then slowly start up a conversation about it once in a while and soon you'll get hem to say yes, when your parents are in the process of getting the dog let them do all the phone calls and stuff because nudging them will make them regret it patients is a virtue it'll come

  6. Show that you are a responsible individual.

  7. It's your parents decision.

If they aren't comfortable with having a dog

    then no dog.

Having a dog takes a lot of responsibility, time, commitment, and money.

It's your parents house, they make the rules.

If your parents to decide to get a dog, tell them to adopt from a shelter/rescue.

  8. You don't and unless you plan on adopting you certainly don't try and talk them into getting a mutt. There are plenty of small dog who are real breeds and are good for people with allergies, look them up

They have said no and no means no

  9. You're "only out for school and friends".  That means that you leave the house between 7 - 8:00 every morning and do not arrive back until after 2 - 3:00.  If you hang out with friends after school, you might be home by dinner time at 5:00 - 6:00.  Dinner and homework will take up the next hour or two.  That means you might have a moment for the dog before 7:00 am and another moment after 7:00 pm.  At best, on good days, it might see you for an hour or two.  Would you take it out for a walk or playtime on rainy days?  Or would you expect that you could just do it on sunny days?  A dog is a 24 hour per day commitment for 10 - 15 years.  Are you ready to commit to that amount of time?  Your parents are being realistic and know that they do not have the time to take care of an animal, regardless of size or type.  As you go to school and take part in more extracurricular activities, will you have any time at all?  Do you want to give up time for sports, drama, socials, dances, etc so that you will have enough time to commit to a pet?

  10. Who takes care of the pup when you're at school or out with you friends?

Dogs require a lot of responsibility that you may not be aware of at this time.

We hate the fact that our 3 dogs are some time's left alone for 10 hours.

It's let's get home, take care of the dogs and then think about something to eat.  That's only happened with one of us had surgery or attending a funeral.  There's a lot to think about here before convincing your parents on letting you have a dog.
