I have carpeted indoor concrete steps that I would like to change to floorboard covering and would appreciate any input as to best type of wood and technique to use. Stairwell also includes a curved landing.

  1. place two or four wall plugs on every step .and very easy to s***w on top of that floor board .the type of wood is dependon how much you can afford

  2. Use very thin boards or even 1/4 " plywood , and use liquid nails to apply. stain and varnish. If the boards are to thick , your first step will become to high to comply to code
