Question:

What is the best way to cross the alps to venice, from both the north and the east, avoiding steep gradients?

Im not bothered entirely which way i come, as long as i go one way and come back another. Im holidaying and would ideally like to avoid using the same roads twice. Im driving from Rotterdam to Venice and from Venice to Paris. Cheers again!

    to Saarbruecken - Strasbourg - Basel - Zuerich - St. Gallen - Innsbruck - Bolzano - Trento - Bassano del Grappa to Venice

    From Venice to Paris:

    Venice - Padova - Vicenca - Brescia - Milan - Lausanne - Dijon - Avallon - Paris

  3. You have to be a bit more precise in Your question.

    If you come from North from Munich you drive over the Brenner-Pass

    and if you come from East from Budapest you drive over the cities Ljubljana - Trieste
