What is the best way to cut 1/4 inch or thinner plexa-glass?

Vey fine tooth saw, like a hack say with 14 0r more teeth per inch.

A band saw with a fine blade.

Be sure to support (sandwhich) the plexiglass between twoo ther materials so it won't flex and crack.

I have always used a Jig Saw with a guide, or Power Saw. Go slow, so the Plexiglas wont over heat. For a smoother edge, apply masking tape over the area, you are going to cut. Draw your cut line, on the tape, and use a guide, or straight edge to help you keep a straight line.
