What is the best way to deal with people who pretending that he/she knows everything?

I've been in a situation that related to the question i've asked. One of my class member are very offensive with me and my friends idea. He likes people to follow his own opinion. He likes to denied other opinion. In a simple word, he always want to win..it doesn't matter what he's telling us is fact or trash..he always want to win.

Ask him to back it up with facts, where he found his sources, make him research his argument. Every time he says something, call him out on it. He'll get so sick of it, he'll either stop talking all together, or you'll keep his busy (and away from you) in the meantime. By asking him a lot of questions, you control the conversation, not him.

Say to him, "well, that's one opinion, how did you come up with it" and when he answers anything with "I", like "I think, I find, I know", ask him how he came up with that conclusion. Once he explains his whole argument, then say, "ok, that's nice.... anyone else, anyone who might have a different point of view" and when he tries to interrupt them, say "we've all heard yours, and didn't interrupt you, let them speak". He'll get aggravated, sure, but, maybe he needs to learn how to have a conversation and some manners.

Don't cave in when he trys to push himself on everyone, I'm sure your not the only one who has noticed that he's a boob.

HAHA I have a co-worker JUST like that!! Just stick to your guns, dont let that person walk all over you! Try your hardest to prove your point.

if you agree with them in a very sarcastic tone it will drive them insane...i do it to a co-worker almost every single day.

saying things like

"oh your sooo right"

"wow you're always correct, i truely wish everyone could see from your perspective"

its pretty fun.

hey, i can understand what you are feeling right now. i mean i have this dad- he is a control freak! look the only thing you can do is this: TELL THE PERSON HOW YOU FEEL!!!

tell him he is a rotten know it all that is getting on your last nerves. tell him if god did not want  other persons to have an opinion too---- they would not have a brain. tell him if he wants to control somebody- he should go buy a robot cuz you are not going to make a stupid idiot like him control your life, tell him  you don't know if he is just acting like trash- or he is trash. then if he is acting like a loser after you tell him all of that just ask- hey, are you acting like a pig or were you just born that way because pigs belong to stys!!

and remember DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT don't be afraid to

TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!! peace

Yeah I like to win also - lol and most of the time I know a lot about different subjects. So from my view. If you  have anything really valid or worth listening to -be sure to voice your opinion and make sure it's right. Perhaps have some other people who also agree with you - have your back lol. But in the end there can only be ONE - that's the most important, so somebody has to back down.
