my friends and family want to stay at a bed and breakfast that has been reported to be one of the most haunted places in america. i agreed to go along but have had dreaded going since i said ok. i believe in ghost and have seen one i believe before. i don't enjoy scary movies and believe that if a real ghost doesn't scare me my friends and family will. i thought i could suck it up and face my fear but as time grows near i don't know if i can. any suggestions? I thought about taking a sleeping pill to help. my friend said that she went and she didn't see anything. i don't want to go and have anything rub off on me. it's a place were suffering has gone on and i'm sensitive to this stuff. i know most of you will say this is a stupied question and will say just don't go but i will look like an @ss if i back out.

  1. 1) Don't back out. You've given your word, and backing out now will actually make you look like an ***.

    2) Don't let your fear get the best of you. Ghosts might startle you, but your family and friends upset you... therefore, instead of being afraid, be angry (they're two sides of the same coin). If someone's s******g with you for the sake of s******g with you, then you have every right to be upset.

    3) Ghosts don't hurt people except in movies. Or if you're really rude to them. In either case, the chances of something really happening to adversely affect you are EXTREMELY slim.

    4) If you allow your mind to tell you that ghosts are something to fear before anything really happens, then the only response you can possibly have is fear.

All of this is my advice.

  2. Why not go and face your fears?

Don't let the unknown intimidate you.

Go in with an open mind. Besides, maybe nothing will happen.

  3. Wow, I feel for you.  I also would be creeped out to stay in a place like that for the same reasons.  I think you can get through it though.  Maybe you should be the one pulling the pranks on other people before they even get a chance to try and scare you.  You know, get the upper hand first.

  4. Wow! You have actually seen a real ghost! Amazing.

Seeing as there is no such thing, that is an amazing feat indeed!

Now about your dilemma. Never fear. Being as there is no such thing as a ghost, there can be no such things a hunting's can there?

  5. I don't really believe that ghosts exist, but even if they do, they can't hurt you. Besides, you'll have your friends and family there with you, which is alot less scary than being on your own. Just go and have fun, and try to keep your mind off the fact that the building is apparently "haunted". I'm sure you'll have a great time.

  6. Maybe you should go and investigate and find that there are no such things as ghosts.

  7. Ok, so you're staying at a business that claims to have a haunted property. How many successful lawsuits have been made against them because anyone came to harm due to a ghost? I'd be willing to say none, or they wouldn't be in business. So what exactly are you afraid of?
