okay I am a resident of FL and my family and I are wanting to do a disney vacation. I want to know what is the best way to do this. I am willing to visit parks other than disney as well if I can get more for my money. We will be in TN for a few months so that is when we will be going. We will fly from Nashville to Orlando. We would prefer to stay in a disney resort so that we may utilize the disney babysitting services that are not offered otherwise. So help me out if you can. I appreciate it

  1. Florida residents can get deeply discounted tickets to all the parks for your group.  You can check out Universal and Disney's website for prices, or you can look at http://www.allearsnet.com

If you plan to stay at Disney, I highly recommend just booking a package direct from Disney.  You will still get the discounted tickets.

  2. Hi my name is Diego and I work for the OrlandoWelcomeCenter.com we offer hotels and resorts some of them are free and some others are super unexpensive please check it out at www.orlandosavings.com look at our packages and you can also get discout tickets for any park or place like arabian nights, medieval times, kennedy space center, and much more. If you are interested or have any question please call me at 407-486-0427 or email me at diegosvacation@gmail.com

  3. Check with Disney Vacations, AAA, or a local travel agent.  Fl. residence can get a special deal on multiple day packages, but only on certain dates. Disney's World of Music and Sports is the best on site hotel. Sea World offers a one time ticket that is good for a year. Busch Gardens is joined with Sea World and offers the same thing.  Up grade to a two park pass.  They also offer a listing of hotels they use along with bus transportation.  Universal has specials, also. They ,too, have certain hotels they use with bus service. My family prefers the Sea World/Busch Gardens passes, because they're good for a year.

  4. Check out Kelly Goode's book " A Mom's Miserly Guide To Disney, Universal, Sea World and Orlando. She lives in Orlando with her husband and two children. Kelly visits the theme parks around Orlando as much as possible for work and for fun! She has worked in the  travel industry for over 20 years and her book offers insight to the incredible savings you can find on a Disney World Vacation.

I bought this book 2 years ago when I was going to take my family to Disney World and it helped me save a fortune with all the tips and insight she provides.

  5. I am a Florida resident & I frequently take advantage of Florida resident offers. You do not need to go through a travel agent or specialty booking site to save big at Disney if you are a Florida resident. Go to www. disneyworld.com & click on the Florida resident link near the top of the page. Here you can find all the discounts offered (hotel, ticket & dining). Book online or call to make your reservation. Disney does not have a toll free number but I have found that it can be better to speak with someone rather than book online. You can make special requests & sometimes a representative will offer you an even lower rate. I will usually check to see what's avaliable online & then call to see if I can get a better deal. Florida resident rates are only offered a couple of months in advance so you may have to wait until close to your visit to book. If you are going during a busy time of year or are particular about where you want to stay, you may want to look into other options. The best resource for planning a trip to Disney is www.allearsnet.com. They have pics & descriptions of all the hotels as well as invaluable tips. Hope you have a great time. Disney World really is a magical place.
