What is the best way to drive quality traffic to your website?

There are several free things you can do - so don't get bamboozled into thinking you have to pay for traffic!

1.  Google the term "Bum marketing method".  Using this method (all free) I was able to get listed on the first page of Google several times.

2.  Write articles for ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com

3.  Blog with a wordpress, blogger, squidoo or hubpage blog.

4.  Participate in forums, and put your site in your siggie.  You MUST offer up good advice though!

5.  Advertise offline.  People are still there, you know!  :)

6.  Go to www.growing-entrepreneur.com for a lot of free advice.

Post messages in forums which are of the same topic as your site.

Be careful though, writing your link even just a few times when there's no need to can get you banned for spamming. Only post it if there's more information on the topic on your website, and state that there is.

Social bookmarking sites like delicious, digg and StumbleUpon work well so long as you don't vote for your own site more than once. And on delicious build a large network with your contacts. When you bookmark your site on it all your contacts will see it.

The higher your Google PageRank the higher your position in web searches (normally, anyway.)  To get a high PageRank exchange links with sites with high PageRank. When asking them for permission though, don't get too pushy.
