What is the best way to end a scavenger hunt?

I'm hosting a Photo Scavenger Hunt in a few days. I have a long list, and a good ammount of people attending. It will last 3 hours.

I just don't have any idea how to end it and determine a winner. Like, first team back? But I want it to be fair. I need some people with really creative minds to help me out!

I did this one other time, and we played for points, but it took over an hour to add up all the points so I don't want anything like that.

Points have to count...otherwise you could just go to the final destination and win.

May I suggest have the teams get the hourly rate at a no tell motel.....the one I did did that and that was favorite part!  and Sing karaoke at local neighborhood pub.

We named ourselves " a little bit "o" booty" and sang, Sir Mix Alots Baby's got back.....hehehehehehehe

Why don't you have the teams collect all of the pictures up and make a story out of it. Quick one, not a long one. Then the judges can rate it from one-ten and see who is the best one.

its not creative but whoever is back first with the most.

ex.

1st team comes with 3 items

2nd comes with 2

3rd comes with 6

4th comes with 9

3rd wins since they came faster than 4 but have a higher number than the teams ahead of them

simple you set a time limit!

and you can have runners- they get one item then they must get it back to the judges table. and once the time limit is up which ever team got the most items win. the catch is each item returned must be brought back in a rotation of the team members.
