How bout you just do the unthinkable...you ready for this??? Ask it a question that only a real person could answer??? ehhh what ya think about that? I knew my 19 years of imaginary detective would pay off some how!

assume that you are not talking to a real person because 90% you aren't. the web chatrooms aren't a great place to meet real people just posers and psychos

There's no way.  Just go into it knowing that there's a 50/50 chance that the 'girl of your dreams' that you have been charming for a week is really some inmate named Tyrone.

Well all are real people.  I don't think dogs are smart enough to use a chat room yet.  If you mean, how do you know if the person you're talking to is really a 33 year old female and not a 55 year old truck driver.  The only way to really put yourself at ease is with a phone call.  But of course, people can still lie with that too.  The only way to be 100% sure is if you meet face to face.
