What is the best way to find a past foreign exchange rate?

I'm new to Accounting Dept, and am working on some older Journal Entries, and need to convert Canadian/American for a May 2008 Date, but every bank sight I've checked only has current Exchange rates. Any site suggestions? Only serious answers please.

I'm just working as data entry for a couple of months, helping out, but wold like to know where to look for future reference.
