What is the best way to find or reach a target audience for customers searching for insurance?

Hello, I am launching a new insurance agent directory website ( www.OIAgent.com) soon and I am looking to find forums, yahoo / Google groups, online or offline magazines, or any other such places that have people who are interested in insurance. Please give me as many links and or suggestions as possible.

As a note we center on American Insurance Agents and as such I am looking for US customers.

It's basically going to come down to PR and advertising.  I would focus on PR with a heavy emphasis on SEO, if I were you.  Advice from this forum will be limited to bad because most folks are competing on the same keywords and don't understand what your site does.

I can tell from your question that you are headed down the right path, but I couldn't really give good advice without having a specific question.

Try internet leads from www.netquote.com they already do what you are trying to do.  Don't waste your time just purchase from them.
