What is the best way to fix small broken components on a circuit board? What sort of resin/glue?

The parts do not necessarily need to be soldered as it appears they were fixed by some sort of resin but this has broken. Bear in mind this is very small, essentially it is the play button of an mp3 player.

  1. I've used the really really thin kind of super glue for things like that before. Worked well.

  2. I would use a small wattage soldering gun (like 15 watt) and a magnifying glass. The material probably needs to be conductive and glue wont work more than likely.
