What is the best way to gain weight?

I need to gain about 8 more pounds so I can get in the "Healthy Weight" section.

    What you want is protein.

    You can get protein supplements from your local health food or fitness shop or pharmacy.  Protein supplements will bulk you up in combination with exercise.

    I have a few body building friends and their daily intake of protein is huge: lots of eggs (without the yolks - high cholesterol) and steaks (bear in mind that the more meat you ingest, the more fat you're ingesting, too - meat is great but it's better to eat more eggs than meat in a day).

    Have a look around on the internet for high protein recipes.

    One thing to bear in mind is that too much protein can be a burden on your kidneys.  Your kidneys are responsible for filtering protein and, the more protein you ingest, the more work the kidneys have to do.  Maybe make an initial appointment with a sports nutritionist and just get an idea of what's too much protein over time.

Hey, so what you want to do is to start eating alot more, but eat smart, try to stay with eating the corect amount of veggies/frutis, along with meat, and grain, but you will also need to start to go to the gym, weightlifting, along with taking extra protein reight after a workout, will dieffenitly beef you up like you want!!
