What is the best way to get 325 hp in my 1993 mustang gt?

i don't want to put a supercharger, or new engine in it.

  1. put a 75 shot on it.  cheapest..but like the other poster said.  you wanna play, you gotta pay.


  2. Like posted earlier, change the top end of the motor. Trickflow makes some very awesome heads. A cam change makes a world of difference too. I would go with a B-303 or an E-303 cam. A set of shorty headers, and some time of aftermarket intake, like from Edelbrock or Airflow Research (AFR). The best thing to do is google a couple of 5.0 forums and get to reading. It is not hard to pull that kind of HP out of that motor. The bottom end will easily hold 500 HP. Then there is always nitrous like stated earlier.

    For a cheaper route, look for a set of used GT-40 or GT-40P heads. They actually used these in 5.0 Explorers and Police Interceptors. Be sure to get the matching intake. The more you can get the airflowing the more HP you will make.  

  3. you will have to change intake, heads, and cam for sure so nearly a new engine. You gotta pay to get power.
