I am not attending Nassau Community College and they didn't take all of my credits. Although I had an A- and and A in the classes. Is there any way to go about getting them to include these grades, maybe as electives? Also I received a C- in a class but there grade scale doesn't include minuses (A- B- C- and so on) so shouldn't they take the C-? If you have any ideas to help me get credit, let me know, it would be much appreciated.

  1. The best way is to check with the college your planning to transfer to before you take any classes at the school you're transfering from.

The reason a college doesn't accept credits for some courses taught at other schools is generally because those course don't meet the standards for an equivalent class at the college you're transferring to, or because they don't even have an equivalent class.  There's really not much you can do about it.
