  1. remember you never pay an agent to represent you! they onyl make 20 % on any pay you get


  2. Do some research in your area to see what agency you'd like to belong to.

    Submit a headshot/resume and cover letter and wait for them to call you in.

    Meet with them, talk about things, read for them... and Viola!

    You've got a good agent  :)
