  1. go to a professional place to get it removed

  2. Cheaper to buy a new one...Look here $75 shipped to your doorstep.

  3. How bad is the dent? Whiskey Ding, trailer tongue kiss or major crunch? Back when I used to work in the paint & body industry, we did not try to straighten chrome bumpers. We replaced them. Usually what would happen, if the metal was stressed (bent) too much the chrome plating would pull  free of the underlying steel, resulting in the bumper eventually rusting. IMHO, if possible stay away from the "rechromed" bumpers. Most of the outfits that used to provide us with "rechromed" bumpers only did a (cheap) flash chroming and the bumpers started to rust after a few years. If the vehicle is worth the effort, try to find a NOS (new old stock) bumper through a Jeep dealer.
