What is the best way to get from Catania airport to the center of Mesina?

There's a bus service provided by the company SAIS autolinee for 7.90 euro (or 12.60 euro for a round trip ticket) between Catania Airport and Messina, but the last bus leaves the airport at 11 pm and the earliest bus in the morning goes at 6:20 AM. If you miss this, the Alibus runs to the train station in Catania every 20 minutes until midnight. There's a bus that leaves the station (PA602) at 2:55 am and goes to the station in Messina arriving at 5:05 am for 6.45 euro. The last train in the evening between the two leaves Catania at 10:05 pm.
