What is the best way to get from London to Italy (Florence) for a student?

  1. Plane; try ryanair or easyjet


  2. when i was a student and wanted to travel to Europe, my budget was low. I always used coaches (don't laugh) instead of planes! its much cheaper and you get to sightsee many countries that come on the way. Not advisable if your on your own as it can get lonely for a long travel....

  3. It just so happens that I'm going to a wedding in Florence from London so I've recently researched this-:)

    By train it would take at least a whole day if not longer.

    By air it would take about 2 hours.

    www.meridiana.it is the only airline flying direct from London.

    Or you could go with Easyjet/BA to Pisa and then take a train to Florence.
