Question:

What is the best way to get from Madrid to southern Spain, the sun coast?

It would be nice to get drunk on a train on the way there. You know, like James Bond.

  1. And you can, but the seats are plastic.  Check out www.raileurope.com for schedules to Malaga and elsewhere on Costa Del Sol.


  2. You could take the AVE  (high speed) Train to Cordoba it takes two hours and goes 180 MPH, but then you would have to switch to RENEFE (much slower) two and a half hours to Malaga -- .

  3. lol! it could be great yes, but would take you too long! I recommend you, like above, to take the AVE (the high-speed train). It's modern and confortable and takes you to the south directly (and I think you can get drunk too;)) Have a nice trip!
