  1. It looks like the Watt Tredici Hotel is located right in Milan.  I was in Italy a few weeks ago.  We took a taxi and that was a bad decision, we got stuck in traffic and it ended up costing 85 Euro.  A couple of years ago I took the shuttle bus to Milano Centrale the main train station and then took a taxi to the hotel.  At the time the shuttle bus cost less than 5 Euro.  There is a train that runs from Malpensa but I don't think it goes directly to Milano Centrale, I believe you have to transfer at an interim station that goes to Centrale.  You could e-mail your hotel and ask if they are near one of the train stations on the line from Malpensa if not take the shuttle bus to Centrale and then a taxi from there.

  2. The Watt Tredici is near the Naviglio Grande canal which isn't particularly close to the Central Station. The quickest and best option is likely to be to take the train from  Malpensa to Milan - it stops at the Cadorna station. Take a taxi from Cadorna to the hotel. You could take the Metro to the Porta Genova stop, but the hotel is still a bus ride from there.

  3. milan is well organized with the transports, there's no need to spend many euros in taxies!

Then I suggest you to take a taxi from Stazione Centrale or Stazione Cadorna to Via Watt 13, because it's on the other side of Milan (South area).

The taxi service will cost around €40/50 from Stazione Centrale.

Taxi service from Malpensa to the address will cost around € 150.

Enjoy in Milan! And... if you need to learn Italian go to Linguadue School (www.linguadue.com).

  5. The "best" way wouuld be to get a car service to meet you at the airport.

The cheaper, next best, way would be to catch a cab.  Be sure to ask for the flat rate, which is 85Euro (traffic has nothing to do with it).

But, realize that the airport is about an hour away from the downtown area, in no traffic, and can take 3 hours in traffic.

The cheapest way will probably be an express bus to the downtown area.  But I wouldn't want to deal with that if I had any type of serious luggage.

    Have a great trip! : )
