  1. There are two stations of the RER B line in CDG airport itself. You may use either one.

Purchase a ticket (just say "Paris" to the ticket seller) which will cost 8.2 euros and take any train saying "Direction : Saint-Remy-les-Chevreuse." When you pass thru the turnstile to the train make sure to retain your ticket.

It is about a 36 minute ride to the Chatelet-Les Halles stop.

When you have exited the train look for signs directing you to Metro line 14. The train you want will be clearly marked "Direction : Saint-Lazare" It is about a 4 minute ride to St. Lazare.

Note that when changing from the RER B line to the Metro you will have to pass thru another turnstile which will require you to re-insert the same ticket you used to board the RER. This is why you need to retain this ticket and keep it handy.

Also, be careful that you are not exiting the system (which also requires you to pass thru a turnstile). Many visitors find thems exiting to the street when they intended to transfer to the Metro.

  2. From Charles de Gaulle take RER B to Chatelet-Les Halles  from there change to Chatelet - Metro following line M14 to Saint-Lazare and it takes around 55 minutes.

For route it is always worth having a look at http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/

  3. RER ( Réseau express régional ) unto Chatelet - then Métro line n°14 to  Saint-Lazare - one and single ticket about 8 €

  4. RER B southbound towards Paris (signs will say Paris in the airport stations). Get off at Gare du Nord. From Gare du Nord, there's an underground connection to the RER E at the Magenta station (you don't have to leave the station complex). Take the RER E to its terminus at Haussmann Saint Lazare, which is in the same complex as the Gare Saint Lazare. It will cost you 8.20 EUR and be sure to keep your ticket until you exit at your final destination.

  5. Get the train, the RER B. It is all sign-posted, you can buy your ticket just before you get on the train from teh ticket office. Then getthe tube to your final destination. It's very easy.

  6. I agree with the train,but...I hope your'e not thinking of catching one from the 14th of november..as the entire railway network is going on an indefinite strike from that date!!(unless the unions get a deal?),good luck.
