I looked up on-line, and the plane tickets are fantastically expensive! And it takes three hours! Or maybe to some airport nearby, where there a lot of flies, a large one, so as to fly internationally without changing in Paris?

The best way to get Nancy from Paris is the train.

You have to go to the Gare de l'Est (paris downtown), in Paris, and there, take the TGV to Nancy. You will downtown in about 1h30, and that would cost about 40 EUR
