  1. hello, i am spainish boy and i think that the metro is the best opction, becose for one € yo could go to Terminal 1 and then you must go to the terminal 4 on a free bus

  2. The metro is the cheapest and its pretty quick and will cost you less than $2.  The taxi from Barajas to Mocloa will take about 15 - 20 mins in moderate traffic and may cost you anywhere from 25 - 35 euros, and as a few people mentioned, they LOVE to rip off tourists.      If you speak spanish that would be a plus, and you can ask the driver for a guess-timate before hand, so he may be less inclined to rip you off!  On the other hand, should you choose the metro, guard your stuff like a hawk!  They are so good at pickpocketing on the metro!  Within 5 mins her of being in Madrid, they stole my friend's cell phone! Similarly, once on the metro, they stole my wallet!! So watch out! Good luck though, and enjoy Madrid!!

  3. Get the bus 204 that leaves the Terminal 4 and gets you to Avenida de América which is a metro and bus station, get the gray line (line 6) and you'll get there without a problem (the whole thing will cost you 2.5 € ;) )

    Good luck and enjoy spain!!

  4. Depends on what you want to pay.

    Cheapest: Metro

    Most comfortable: Taxi

Quickest:..... depends what time of day you are arriving!!!! (The famed madrid traffic)

Check this out for the various options:

  5. bye taxi

  6. You have another option of taking a bus from Terminal 4 and getting on a bus (I can't remember the number) to the Barajas Metro Station on the "8" line). The bus ride is very short ... less than 10 minutes. Then take the "8" to Nuevos Ministerios station (it's about  20 minute ride) and then transfer to the "6" or Circular. On the 5th stop you will be at the Moncloa station. Also, you can take an underground metro (not part of the city's metro system but a part of the airport) from Termianal 4 to Terminals 1, 2, or 3 (they're all clumped together) and then take the city's metro from the Aeropuerto Station and go the Nuevos Ministerios and transfer to the "6". The ticket costs 1euro one way or 6.40 euro for 10 rides. I know I'm rambling on but unless you have a lot of baggage I would give you a word of advice and tell you not to take a taxi as a lot of the drivers like to rip off tourists so it can be quite expensive where in fact the metro ride is not bad at all and cheap too. Enjoy Spain!
