We are going to be landing at Narita and need to get to the Monterey Hanzomon hotel (23-1 Ichiban-cho TOKYO, JP 102-0082) - what should we do to get there?

From Narita Airport to Oshiage by Keisei Line

*10 stops (70-minute ride) by rapid-express train. 950yen

*You may have to get off at Aoto Station and change the train...

From Aoto to Oshiage, it's a 10-minute ride.

From Oshiage to Hanzomon by Hanzomon Line

*8 stops (20-minute ride) by local train. 230yen

And then a few minutes walk from Hanzomon station to the hotel.

That's a tough one.  The easiest, in terms of fewest transfers, would be for you to take the SOBU Express at Narita Airport and change at KINSHICHO station to the HANZOMON subway line.  As the name implies, it will take you to Hanzomon.  It'll take a while - just under 2 hours and will cost a bit over ï¿¥2000, but it's the least confusing way and you can avoid the mayhem of Tokyo Station.

Then get taxi to the hotel.

Tokyo metro Hanzomon station is just next to the hotel though, it is quite tough for you first time traveler to Japan to use it skillfully with luggages.
