  1. There are very few cruises that do this.  It is usually only when they are relocating a ship from Europe to Florida or vice versa.  Cunard and Princess(?) have world cruises that have this as part of the tour, but it is still sporadic.

  2. Cunard is the only cruise line that offers regular 6 night service from London to New York and back. Other cruise lines go fromt he US to Europe once in the spring and then return once in the late fall.

  3. No cruise line offers regularly scheduled service between continental Europe and New York (or anyplace else in the US).

Cunard is the only line with regularly scheduled Trans-Atlantic passenger service, however they sail between Southampton and New York.  Sailings are onboard the Queen Mary 2.  Cunard also offers some sailings in the fall calling on New York and ports in New England, these are round trip sailing from Southampton on Queen Elizabeth 2.  A few times a year Cunard offers a sailing or two from France or Germany to New York on Queen Mary 2.

However, from the late fall into the winter months many cruise lines reposition ships from Europe to the Caribbean, and as a result it is sometimes possible to find a sailing from Europe to New York, however most of these sailings are headed to other US destinations and they are one way only.

Your only other option is to look into "freighter" cruises.  There are some freighters that carry passengers and you might be able to do it on one of them.
