  1. Step 1: From either Lorimer St or Bedford Av, put $2 in your card to enter L train stations.

    Step 2: Take Manhattan-bound L to Union Square-14th St, then get off and follow sign for uptown 4/5/6.

    Step 3: Take Bronx-bound 4 or 5 train. On weekends, it is best if you take whatever comes first, even with (6) and get off Grand Central.

    Purchase peak $15.50/off-peak $11.75 from Ticket Vending Machine and take New Haven Line that stop at Bridgeport.


  2. Start by going from the pool to the L subway.  This website gives you walking instructions:

    Take the L line towards Manhattan and get off at 14 Street/Union Square.  Do the free transfer to the uptown 4 or 5 train.

    Get off at 42nd Street/Grand Central Terminal.

    At Grand Central, take the MetroNorth commuter train from Grand Central Terminal to the Bridgeport station--takes about 1.5 hours.
