  1. You can use the Transport for London journey planner to work out a walking route or you could just take the Piccadilly Line from Covent Garden to Holborn then change to the Central Line and take it as far as Oxford Circus or take Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus & change to the Bakerloo Line

    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/

  2. It's a fairly short and interesting walk. By the time you've messed about waiting for buses or trains and winding around assorted tunnels you could have got there on foot and enjoyed the sights as well. For free.

tfl's website will show you the way.

  3. walk to Bloomsbury Central Baptist Churh, take the Route Bus 73 towards Victoria Bus Station or Route Bus 10 towards Hammersmith Broadway Bus Stn, get off at Oxford Circus

I got this information from the London Transport website www.tfl.gov.uk using their journey planner (and I went to the advanced option and unclicked the other options so that it only left the bus option)

  4. walk! it takes about 20 minutes max and is an attractive and interesting walk that can take in the antiquarian book street charing cross and the theatrical shaftesbury avenue.

i found this site for walking route planners in london:
