Make contacts and connections and volunteer for these types of NGOs..

Nature Centers

Museums of Natural History

World Wildlife Federation

Zoos and Zoological Societies

And certainly, pursue an education that helps get you there : i.e. school of Nonprofit for MNO or CNM,  or ecological studies in college, etc.  Leverage your professors for help and guidance there...
