What is the best way to get my city to put speed bumps on my street?

A lot of children play on our street and cars fly up and down it! I want to get something done as soon as possible before a child gets hit!

One thing I suggest you do it have your neighbors sign a petition...the more the better.

Hi: Take lots of videos and pics..take to city council and DOT..Hire an attorney to look into the matter..have neighbors to monitor street...ask police to monitor the area..If the children see the speeders teach them to write down license numbers (safely)..have a good day.

You will need to get all of the neighbors with and without children to sign a petition as to what you want and present this along with many of your neighbor to meet with the city manager, the more that sign and the more that come will show that your neighborhood means business.

get your neighbors to sign a petition and get as many of them as possible to go to the city meeting and plead your case.

make all the reports for reckless drivers to you local police.

if all else fails.....use the media.
