Question:

What is the best way to get out of a Honda Lease early?

I have a 2007 Honda Accord which I leased through Honda Finance. I've recently moved into a new home next to work and no longer need a car. I have just under 2 years remaining on the lease before I can turn it in. Should I pay off the entire loan, get the title and sell the car outright? Are those lease trader sites any good or just a scam? Should I just not drive the car and continue making the remaining $2000 in payments and turn it in? Other ideas?

  1. I've heard a lot of success from people using http://www.swapalease.com , as a matter of fact, a good friend of mine got a Caddy cts-v from there, and i have several clients that were able to rid themselves of an unwanted car that way, it's a good site.

Otherwise, it's best to keep it.

  2. You agreed to an amount and a term. Honor it or stop paying and let it get repo'd

You could try to sell it
